At Peace Wayland, we believe kids aren’t just the future of the church — they are the church right now. That’s why Peace Kids is designed to be a safe, joy-filled, gospel-centered environment where children can encounter Jesus in ways that connect to their age and stage of life.

Here’s how Peace Kids breaks down each Sunday:

• Baby–2 Years Old → Our littlest ones are cared for in the small room inside the Lumber Yard, where they are loved, prayed over, and kept safe.

• 3–4 Years Old → In the large room at the Lumber Yard, toddlers and preschoolers enjoy age-appropriate worship, activities, and Bible stories that bring God’s truth to life.

• 5 Years–1st Grade → Also in the large room at the Lumber Yard, these early elementary kids experience interactive teaching, songs, and activities that build a foundation of faith.

• 2nd–3rd Grade → At the 707 building, just across the road, this age group gathers in a fun, secure space created with them in mind.

• 4th–5th Grade → Also at 707, older kids engage in worship and teaching that challenges them to live out their faith with courage.

Even though 707 is a separate building, it’s directly across from the Lumber Yard and within clear sight. Our leaders are trained and intentional about safety every step of the way, from check-in to pick-up.

To check your kids in, head to the back courtyard of the Lumber Yard, where signs will point you to the Peace Kids entrance, or enter 707, and check stations will be available at the entrance. Because of our unique rental space, check-in may take a couple of extra minutes — so plan to arrive early and give yourself time to get settled.
