Welcome to Peace Wayland
Our Vision
Our vision is to see the Gospel embraced and passed on for generations of Kingdom impact.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where are you located and when do you gather?
We gather every Sunday at 8, 9:15 & 10:30 AM at the Lumber Yard (710 W. Maple St., Wayland, MI). Each week, our team transforms this space into a place where people of all ages can encounter Jesus. As you pull in, look for the parking signs and friendly faces ready to help you find your way.

2. What should I wear?
Peace Wayland isn’t about looking a certain way — it’s about meeting with God together. You’ll see people in jeans, flannel, sneakers, boots, and business casual. Wear what makes you comfortable. We’re far more interested in you than in your wardrobe.

3. What are your worship gatherings like?
Our gatherings are built around worship and the Word. You’ll experience heartfelt, Christ-centered music led by our worship team, followed by preaching that is bold, biblical, and practical. We want you to encounter Jesus, be challenged by Scripture, and walk away with real hope and real truth you can live out.

4. What will happen when I visit for the first time?
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed. Parking team members will help you get settled, and our greeters will point you where you need to go — including the Welcome Center, where we’ve got a free gift for you. If you’ve got kids, someone will walk you to Peace Kids check-in. In the gathering, sit wherever you’d like. Don’t worry — we won’t put you on the spot or draw attention to you. We simply want you to feel at home.

5. What do you have for kids?
We love kids at Peace Wayland. Peace Kids is more than childcare — it’s discipleship. From babies to 5th graders, every child gets to experience worship, movement, activities, and teaching from the Bible in a way that’s safe, fun, and designed just for them. Our goal is simple: to help kids meet Jesus and begin to build a faith that lasts.

6. Do you have a midweek worship gathering?
Right now, we don’t hold a midweek service. Instead, we encourage everyone to plug into a Community Group — smaller groups that meet throughout Wayland, Dorr, Moline, Hopkins, Gun Lake, Middleville, and beyond. We believe growth happens best in community, where people share life, study God’s Word, and pray for one another.

7. What is a Community Group and how can I join?
A Community Group is a smaller gathering of people who meet regularly (usually in homes) for food, prayer, conversation, and Bible study. These groups are where church becomes family and faith becomes real.
